مقاله حامد فخارزاده بافقی پیرامون نانو در کنفرانس بین المللی بلاروس پذیرفته شد. وی دانش آموخته رشته مهندسی پلیمر از دانشگاه صنعتی امیرکبیر(پلی تکنیک تهران) است و هم اکنون دانشجوی دوره کارشناسی ارشد رشته پلیمر در پژوهشگاه رنگ تهران بوده و در شرکت پکا شیمی به کارهای علمی وتحقیقاتی خود ادامه می دهد.
کنفرانس بین المللی بلاروس ۲۷ الی ۲۹ ژوئن در مینسک پایتخت بلاروس برگزار میشود.
Effect of nano ZnO on Thermal and Antibacterial Properties of Polyester Powder Coatings

Powder coatings are widely used to protect of metal [1]. Coating efficiency is dependent on some intrinsic properties of the organic film and the presence of some additives in formulation for additional properties [2]. Also, it has been found that zinc oxide is a material with antibacterial properties and in nano size used in traditional coatings formulation [3].
In this study various percentages (1, 3 and 5%) of nano zinc oxide, distributed using blending method by twin screw extruder in polyester resin matrix. Then prepared mixture and triglycidyl isocyanurate (as a hardener in the manufacture of powder coatings) transforms to powder. The powder coatings were applied using electrostatic method on aluminum plates. The samples were cured for 10 minutes at 200 centigrade degrees. The final film thickness of samples was between 40 to 50 microns. To investigate the thermal properties, gel time of the samples was measured and the DSC curve was prepared. The results show that by increasing the percentage of nano zinc oxide, gel time was decreased. Antibacterial properties of coatings were investigated by gram negative bacteria E. coli and gram positive Staphylococcus aureus. The results show that the coatings demonstrate significant antibacterial activity by increasing amounts of ZnO nanoparticles.
